Blisstil manufactures and sells health products called SleepMuffs which help their customers sleep, particularly in noisy environments. Customers can purchase their products directly from their ecommerce website.
Their product is unique and innovative, but much of its functionality is hidden inside the device, making it hard to communicate how it works using standard photos alone. Multiple images were needed across the site to portray its features, which still didn't fully convey the product's complexity.
An interactive 3D product configurator was developed and embedded on the home page of their ecommerce site, allowing customers to interact with a digital twin of the SleepMuffs product. The 3D model was created from the SolidWorks CAD data provided by the client and optimised for real-time web rendering. The resulting viewer lets customers explore internal components and product variations from a single frame, giving them a clear understanding of the product's complexity. The client reported that it increased their online sales by approximately 50%.
